Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry degree required and active license in good standing.
• Commitment to quality patient care and high ethical standards.
• Knowledge of Medical Optometry, including Billing and Coding.
• Knowledge of Surgical Care and practices pertaining to Optometry.
• Knowledge of current Optometric theory & technology.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Excellent problem solving and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality optometric care and patient-centered service.
• Collaborate with MOD, SMM and store team to drive results.
• Maintain state licensure and ongoing Continuing Education requirements.
• Build Doctor/Patient relationships and explain eye exams clearly.
• Assist with pre/post-op surgical support when applicable.
• Advise patients on eyewear and eye health needs.
