Job summary

FenixHire in Ashland, NH is seeking a full-time Optometrist (OD) to join a well-established eye care practice with a broad patient base and modern diagnostic equipment. The role offers a stable schedule and clinical support to focus on patient care rather than administration.

You will perform comprehensive eye exams, diagnose vision conditions, prescribe lenses, and, where permitted by state, provide therapeutic treatments.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry program.
• Active optometry license in the applicable state or eligibility to obtain one.
• Strong clinical knowledge and patient communication skills.
• Ability to provide comprehensive and compassionate patient care.
• New graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye examinations and diagnose vision conditions and eye diseases.
• Prescribe corrective lenses and, where permitted by state regulations, provide therapeutic treatments.
• Identify potential signs of systemic health conditions through comprehensive eye evaluations.
• Educate patients on eye health, corrective lens options, and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records using the electronic medical records (EMR) system.
