Job summary

FenixHire is recruiting a full-time Optometrist (OD) for a well-established eye care practice in Arizona. You will perform comprehensive eye exams, diagnose vision conditions, and provide corrective lenses with potential therapeutic care where allowed by state law.

You will educate patients on eye health, EMR documentation, and preventive care, supported by modern diagnostic equipment and a stable patient base. New grads welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• OD degree from an accredited optometry program.
• Active optometry license in the applicable state or eligibility to obtain one.
• Strong clinical knowledge and patient communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye examinations and diagnose vision conditions and eye diseases.
• Prescribe corrective lenses and, where permitted by state regulations, provide therapeutic treatments.
• Identify potential signs of systemic health conditions through comprehensive eye evaluations.
• Educate patients on eye health, corrective lens options, and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records using the electronic medical records (EMR) system.
