FenixHire in Toledo, Ohio seeks a full-time Optometrist (OD) to join an established eye care practice with modern diagnostic equipment and an experienced team. You will perform comprehensive eye exams, diagnose vision conditions, prescribe lenses, and, where permitted, provide therapeutic treatments, while educating patients and maintaining EMR records.

Qualifications

• OD degree from an accredited optometry program.
• Active optometry license in the applicable state or eligibility to obtain one.
• Strong clinical knowledge and patient communication skills.
• Ability to provide comprehensive and compassionate patient care.
• New graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsabilités

• Perform comprehensive eye examinations and diagnose vision conditions and eye diseases.
• Prescribe corrective lenses and, where permitted by state regulations, provide therapeutic treatments.
• Identify potential signs of systemic health conditions through comprehensive eye evaluations.
• Educate patients on eye health, corrective lens options, and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records using the electronic medical records (EMR) system.
