Walmart Inc. seeks an Associate Optometrist to join its Vision Center team in Big Rapids, MI. You will deliver evidence-based eye care, prescribe treatments, and collaborate with store staff to ensure high-quality patient experiences.

You’ll lead patient evaluations, educate patients on eye health and contact lens care, and coordinate with ophthalmologists as needed. This role emphasizes autonomy, community trust, and integration of advanced vision-center technology.

Qualificações

• Doctoral degree in Optometry (OD) from an accredited optometry program.
• Licensed optometrist in good standing in state of practice.
• PGY or specialty training is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Provide evidence-based vision care and prescribe medications and treatment per guidelines.
• Educate patients and store staff on eye health and contact lens care.
• Coordinate patient care plans with other health professionals as needed.
• Perform comprehensive eye examinations and document findings in medical records.
• Consult with ophthalmologists and other providers when referrals are appropriate.
