Qualifications

• Doctorate of Optometry from a credentialed institution.
• Must have passed all optometric state boards.
• Experience conducting comprehensive eye exams and eye health evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct eye exams.
• Establish long-term patient relationships through proper care and education.
• Perform vision tests and analyze results.
• Diagnose sight problems and eye diseases.
• Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and medications.
• Provide treatments such as vision therapy or low-vision rehabilitation.
• Pre- and postoperative care for eye surgery patients.
