Job summary

MRG EXAMS seeks an Optometrist to conduct disability assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA process. You will perform comprehensive eye exams, review medical records in a secure web portal, and document findings for disability determinations.

Role emphasizes non-treating duties, with a typical 4-6 veteran/day caseload, standard 8a-4p schedule, and equipment provided. Training and ongoing support accompany a stable, in-person role.

Qualifications

• Holds an active Optometry license.
• Proficient in Visual Field Testing (VFT).
• Comfortable using technology to review records and complete documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans.
• Review and analyze electronic medical records via a secure web portal.
• Perform eye exams including Visual Field Testing (VFT).
• Document exam findings and complete VA forms.
• Note: role does not involve treatment or prescribing medication.
