HealthDrive delivers on-site optometry to residents in long-term care facilities. The Optometrist will provide comprehensive eye care across Flint/Saginaw and surrounding areas, with flexible full-time or part-time schedules and travel to sites daily.

The role offers autonomy, a supportive admin team, and a modern EMR system, with 100% malpractice coverage and a generous sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• OD degree from an accredited program.
• Active state optometry license.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel daily.
• TPA/Legend Drug certification.
• Proficiency with EMR and clinical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide general optometry services to residents in nursing homes and facilities.
• Diagnose and treat refractive and ocular disorders.
• Examine, diagnose, treat diseases of the visual system and eye.
• Identify related systemic conditions affecting the eye.
• Enter patient information and document in EMR.
• Daily travel to skilled nursing facilities for mobile care.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Overview

HealthDrive is currently seeking an Optometrist, to work Part Time or Full-time (2-5 days per week) covering work sites across Flint/Saginaw, MIand the surrounding areas.

Updated Compensation:

• Oppotunity to earn $800+ per day via production with a $625 daily minimum.
• $10k Sign On Bonus available at 5 days per week. Prorated for fewer days.

Essential Functions:

• Diagnose and treat refractive disorders.
• Diagnose and treat ocular disorders caused by age-related illnesses.
• Examines, diagnoses, treats, and manages diseases, injuries and disorders of the visual system, the eye, and associated structures.
• Identifies related systemic conditions affecting the eye.
• Enters patient information and completes required clinical documentation in our cutting-edge EMR system.
• Mobile model treatment of patients requires daily travel to skilled nursing facilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Ability to work independently on a daily basis.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and organizational skills.
