Qualifications

• Doctorate of Optometry from a credentialed institution.
• Must have passed all optometric state boards.
• Strong patient communication and education skills.

Responsibilities

• Conducting comprehensive eye exams and assessing ocular health.
• Establish long-term patient relationships through care and education.
• Interviews patients before exams to gather health and vision needs.
• Explain remediation options for refractive and ocular conditions.
• Prescribe eyewear, contacts, and medications when appropriate.
• Counsel patients on eye health and preventive care.
