Job description

MOA/OPNH/RIO are independent group optometry practices at VISIONWORKS serving the eye care needs of patients throughout Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island. We provide general eye care, medical eye care, and services for those seeking eyeglasses and contact lens vision correction. We welcome adults, children, and the entire family.

We currently have FT/PT openings in our MA locations: Malden, Braintree, and Brockton; and our NH locations: Salem, Concord, and Seabrook.

Qualifications

Role Description: This is an on-site Optometrist role located in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island. The Optometrist will be responsible for providing general eye care, diagnosing and treating vision problems, prescribing corrective lenses, and promoting overall eye health. They will also perform eye exams, manage patients' ocular diseases, and educate patients on proper eye care practices.

  • Strong diagnostic and treatment skills in optometry
  • Experience in prescribing corrective lenses and managing ocular diseases
  • Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of current optometric practices and technologies
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited school
  • State licensure as an Optometrist in Massachusetts
