Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) Optometrist Position

Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) is an award-winning, academic public healthcare system recognized nationally for innovation and community excellence. We are recruiting for an Optometrist to work on weekends, joining our vibrant Division of Ophthalmology.

Our system includes three hospital campuses and an integrated network of primary and specialty care sites across Cambridge, Somerville, and Boston’s metro north region. CHA serves a diverse community and is a teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School and a clinical affiliate of Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.

Position Details
  1. Providing patient care sessions on weekends (Saturdays, Sundays, or both).
  2. Part-time or per-diem employment options.
  3. Care delivery at our CHA Eye Center locations in Malden and Somerville.
  4. Collaborating with ophthalmologists and optometrists to provide comprehensive eye care for patients of all ages.
  5. Responsibilities include routine eye exams, contact lens fittings, and assisting in the care of patients with medical and surgical ophthalmic conditions.
  6. No call required; daytime hours only.
  7. This position includes a Harvard Medical School appointment (Instructor, Assistant, or Associate Professor), based on qualifications and teaching commitments.
