Adventure Dental, Vision, & Orthodontics in Lakewood, CO, seeks an Optometrist to provide preventive and restorative eye care, diagnose vision-related conditions, and guide staff in patient treatment. This role supports provider teams and patient health outcomes.

The position reports to the Vice President of Optometric Services with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits. A 4- or 5-day workweek is available with signing bonus and relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• State optometry license in good standing.
• Strong interest in working with children.
• Ability to acquire or maintain Medicaid Provider number and NPI number.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle a diverse workload.
• Ability to multi-task and complete tasks on time.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care and service by responding promptly to patient, caregiver, and team needs.
• Examine patients, diagnose diseases, and perform necessary procedures.
• Provide comprehensive professional vision treatment plans.
• Foster teammate satisfaction and retention by supporting staff and encouraging growth.
• Arrange referrals to vision specialists when appropriate.
• Prepare and update patient case files with medical history and treatment plans.

Adventure Dental, Vision, & Orthodontics in Lakewood, CO, is currently seeking an Optometrist to provide preventive and restorative eye care for all patients, diagnosing and treating vision-related symptoms, as well as instructing staff on how to assist in patient treatment. This position will report to the Vice President of Optometric Services.

Pay range: $140K-$160K/yr

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care and service by responding promptly to patient, caregiver, and team needs
• Examine patients, diagnose diseases, and effectively treat and perform all necessary procedures
• Provide comprehensive professional vision treatment plans to help them achieve optimal vision health, using accepted clinical and diagnostic techniques
• Build a community within the practice that fosters teammate satisfaction and retention by developing strategies to achieve organizational goals, being available to staff, accepting feedback from others, developing subordinates’ skills, and encouraging growth
• Arrange for referral to vision specialists when appropriate
• Prepare a doctor case file including medical history, informing patients on general care and health of eyes at regular time intervals, and staying informed on the latest vision treatment techniques
