HealthDrive is hiring a Optometrist in Wisconsin to provide on-site optometry services across La Crosse and Greater Eau Claire areas, including Eau Claire, Menomonie, Chippewa Falls, Rice Lake and surrounding communities.

This full-time position (4 days per week) offers an established patient base, autonomy with support, and a comprehensive benefits package. The role involves daily travel to facilities and no evening or weekend hours.

Qualifications

• OD degree required and licensed to practice in Wisconsin.
• State professional license is required.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• TPA certification/Legend Drug Certificate is required.
• Ability to work independently on a daily basis.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to use email and EMR software.

Responsibilities

• Provide general optometry services to residents of nursing homes, assisted living facilities and long-term care facilities within an assigned territory.
• Diagnose and treat refractive and ocular disorders.
• Examine, diagnose, treat, and manage diseases of the visual system and related structures.
• Identify related systemic conditions affecting the eye.
• Enter patient information and complete required clinical documentation in our EMR system.
• Mobile model requires daily travel to skilled nursing facilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Mobile model treatment of patients requires daily travel to skilled nursing facilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
