Job summary

EyeCare Partners in Peoria, AZ seeks an Optometric Technician to support ophthalmologists by performing initial testing and delivering a world-class Total Patient Experience. Location: Peoria, AZ. This role involves operating exam equipment and assisting with testing to prepare patients for exams.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year in a customer-facing role, a high school diploma or GED, and a preference for ophthalmic experience. May require travel to other locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in a position interacting with customers/patients.
• Preferred ophthalmic/medical office experience.
• Must be able to pass background check and provide proof of work eligibility in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Embrace and execute our Total Patient Experience to build relationships with all patients while delivering great medical support
• Comply with all company policies and procedures including HIPAA
• Operate testing equipment (manual lensometer, auto-lensometer, autorefractor/keratometer, retinal camera, visual field, GDX or OCT)
• Follow scripting for testing equipment and maintain clean examination tools
• General office duties and equipment cleaning; support a positive, patient-focused environment
• Commit to work hours that meet business needs, including weekends or schedule changes
