Job summary

EyeCare Partners in Phoenix is seeking an Optometric Technician to support the Total Patient Experience. This role uses optical equipment to perform initial testing and prep patients for exams with an Optometrist.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of customer-facing work, prefer medical office or ophthalmic experience, and be proficient with common office software. Ability to work weekends and travel to locations may be required; HIPAA compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in a position interacting with customers/patients or the equivalent combination of education and experience
• Previous medical office experience preferred; ophthalmic experience strongly preferred
• Favorable result on background check as required by state
• Must provide proof of identity and right to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Embrace and execute our Total Patient Experience to build relationships with all patients while delivering great medical support
• Comply with all company policies and procedures including HIPAA
• Operate and assist with ophthalmic testing equipment as part of preparing patients for exams
