Job summary

Southeast Eye Group Hiawassee is seeking a full-time Optometric Technician to support eye exams and deliver exceptional patient care.

You will assist with patient care and eye tests, manage records and workflow, support contact lens exams, and operate the front-desk POS with accuracy and empathy.

Required: 2+ years of optometry/healthcare experience, knowledge of optical terminology, strong communication, and the ability to work weekends or evenings as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 2 years in optometry/ophthalmology or healthcare.
• Knowledge of optical and medical terminology.
• Experience with pre-exam testing and vision measurements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care and eye exams.
• Perform tests aiding optometrist: acuity, depth, color vision, retinal imaging.
