Job summary

EyeCare Partners in Tucson, AZ is seeking an Optometric Technician to support doctors and comprehensive eye care teams. You will help with preliminary testing, patient flow, and preparing patients for exams, using optical equipment to ensure accuracy.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of customer-facing experience, familiarity with HIPAA, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including some weekends. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is expected to manage records and communications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in a position interacting with customers/patients or equivalent experience.
• Favorable result on background check as required by state.
• Must be able to provide proof of identity and right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate patient flow and assist doctors during tests.
• Verify medical and vision insurances.
• Communicate effectively with patients, doctors, and managers.
• Answer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person.
• Maintain clean and organized examination spaces.
