Target Optical is seeking a friendly and capable Optometric Technician in New York, NY. This part-time position focuses on delivering exceptional patient service, assisting the Optometrist, and ensuring accurate records and efficient clinic flow.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of strong guest service experience.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Strong communication and listening skills with guests and staff.
• Solid basic math ability including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Good interpersonal skills: friendly, patient, and helpful.
• Sales skills and knowledge of store merchandise.
• Familiarity with cash registers and computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests and provides timely assistance to ensure a WOW! guest experience.
• Explains products, services, and paperwork to guests and patients as needed.
• Maintains accurate patient records and processes lens orders and payments.
• Operates POS system and handles transactions following procedures.
• Keeps displays clean, organized, and visually appealing.
