Qualifications

• Must be friendly, self-motivated, reliable, organized, and customer service oriented.
• Experience in optometry preferred but not required.
• Prior experience in a fast-paced medical office is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all aspects of the assigned patient care area.
• Conduct patient intake and workup using standardized protocols.
• Assist optometrists with contact lens fittings.
• Manage and monitor patients’ eye and vision issues.
• Contribute to the efficiency of the clinic.
• Update daily schedule by assessing no-shows and add-ins.
• Assist with retail aspects in office, including eyewear.
• Maintain a professional demeanor.
• Assist in resolution of patient complaints.
• Perform other assigned duties as directed.
