Delaware Eye Care Center is seeking a patient-focused Optometric Technician to support doctors with pre-exam workups, measurements, and patient education. The role emphasizes a team-centered environment with no nights, no major holidays or Sundays, and a robust benefits package.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of optometric or medical assisting experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with EMR systems. Travel to other locations may be required.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in a workup position within an optometric practice is preferred.
• Must be willing to travel to other offices occasionally to meet the demands of business.
• Demonstrate superior computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Initial work up of patients collecting history and basic data.
• Measuring visual acuities, intraocular pressures, and field tests.
• Scribe in electronic medical records to document visits and exams.
