Qualifications

• Experience in retail or optical settings preferred.
• Ability to explain patient preliminaries clearly.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides high-quality patient care and supports the doctor’s office and pre-test room.
• Maintains professional appearance and atmosphere in the office.
• Explains preliminary examinations to patients and conducts tests before doctor exams.
• Promotes visual field testing and retinal screenings when appropriate.
• Reviews prescriptions and patient information for special needs; consults as needed.
• Completes referral forms and follows up paperwork; maintains patient records.
• Ensures proper maintenance of equipment and orders supplies as directed.
• Follows store and corporate policies; participates in mandatory communications meetings.
