Job summary

EyeCare Partners seeks an Optometric Technician to support the patient experience and assist with initial testing before exams. You will operate equipment such as lensometers, autorefractors, and retinal cameras to prepare patients for providers.

The role requires strong customer service, basic office skills, and the ability to work in a clinical setting with attention to patient care and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year in a role interacting with customers/patients.
• Previous medical office or ophthalmic experience preferred.
• Must provide proof of identity and work authorization in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Embrace and execute the Total Patient Experience, building relationships with patients while delivering medical support.
• Comply with HIPAA and company policies and procedures.
• Operate examination equipment and assist in initial testing for exams.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and assist with general office duties.
• Support team in delivering a positive, patient-focused environment.
• Be flexible with hours, including potential weekends or schedule changes.
