Job summary

The Eye Doctors in Olathe, KS is seeking an Optometric Technician to support eye care providers with preliminary testing and patient interactions. This role requires strong customer service and familiarity with ophthalmic equipment.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in a medical or customer-facing setting, basic computer skills, and a willingness to learn. Office hours are Mon–Fri with some weekend work and a patient-focused team environment.

Qualifications

• Previous medical office experience preferred.
• Ophthalmic experience strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year in a position interacting with customers/patients or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Favorable result on background check as required by state
• Must be able to provide proof of identity and right to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Assist the doctor in preliminary testing.
• Verify medical and vision insurances.
• Effectively communicate with patients, doctors, and managers.
• Answer inquiries through phone, email, and in-person requests.
