Job summary

EssilorLuxottica supports TeamVision’s Silver Lake Eye Clinic in Everett, WA, seeking an Optometric Technician to ensure high-quality eye care and a seamless patient experience during exams. You will assist with patient care, conduct pre-exam testing, support the optometrist, manage records, and help with contact lens orders while upholding HIPAA and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years' experience in optometry or healthcare.
• Knowledge of optical and medical terminology.
• Understanding and use of optical equipment and diagnostic testing (pre-exam testing, visual acuity, etc.).
• Coaching skills and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care and eye exams, manage patient records and workflow.
• Perform tests such as visual acuity, depth/color perception, and retinal imaging.
• Review prescriptions and patient information; consult with clinicians when needed.
• Handle patient records per HIPAA; maintain organized files.
• Support contact lens exams and orders, including care and inventory.
• Operate scheduling and POS systems; process sales transactions when required.
• Maintain safe environment and adhere to policies; work weekend/evening shifts.
