Southern Illinois Eye Care in Sparta, IL is hiring an Optometric Technician I. This full-time role supports optometrists with pre-screening tests, patient histories, and education on contact lenses, while ensuring smooth scheduling and insurance verification. Ideal candidates have 1+ year in customer service, strong communication, and a collaborative mindset. Training is provided; evenings and weekends are not required.

We're looking for a detail-oriented, patient-focused individual to join our team as an Optometric Technician I. Pay : $15-$17/hour with full benefits including PTO, paid holidays, insurance, 401k + match & so much more! Full time hours, no evenings or weekends!!

What You'll Be Doing

• Support optometrists by performing pre-screening tests and assisting with exams
