SVS Vision, Inc. is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician in Livonia, MI to provide clinical support to the Doctor of Optometry and enhance patient satisfaction. The role reports to the Professional Services Department and is based in a busy ophthalmology setting.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Doctor of Optometry to improve exam efficiency and patient experience.
• Communicates with retail office management and staff.
• Prepares the clinic day and maintains strong organizational skills.
• Performs refraction and related tests.
• Reviews case history including current medical conditions.
• Operates Ophthalmic instruments (tonometry, refractor, lensometer, OCT).
• Records results and assists with patient care under OD supervision.

The Ophthalmic Technician provides clinical support for the Doctor of Optometry (OD) to increase patient satisfaction and elevate exam efficiency. This positionr eports to the Professional Services Department.

Duties and Responsibilities:The responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:
