Eyetastic Services, LLC, located in Costa Mesa, is seeking an Optometric Technician to join a growing eye care practice. You will perform independent pre-testing, assist with eyewear dispensing, and support patient flow in a team-focused setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a retail optometry office.
• Strong optometric pre-testing skills and ability to work independently.
• Experience with optical sales, eyewear dispensing, and EHR documentation.
• Familiarity with vision insurance verification.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent pre-testing including visual acuity, auto-refraction, tonometry, retinal imaging, OCT, visual fields, and more.
• Accurately document patient information and exam findings within the EHR system.
• Provide optical sales support including frame styling, lens recommendations, eyewear dispensing, and patient education.
• Schedule patient appointments, manage clinic flow, and verify vision insurance benefits.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and assist with patient intake, check-in, and clinic operations.
• Maintain exam rooms, diagnostic equipment, and clinical supplies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform independent pre-testing, including visual acuity, auto-refraction, tonometry, retinal imaging, OCT, visual fields, and more
