Job summary

Eyetastic Services in Costa Mesa is seeking an Optometric Technician to join a growing eye care practice. You will perform pre-testing, document findings, assist with eyewear sales, and support clinic flow in a team-focused environment.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in a retail optometry setting, strong pre-testing skills, and experience with EHR documentation. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, with competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a retail optometry office.
• Strong optometric pre-testing skills and ability to work independently.
• Experience with optical sales, eyewear dispensing, and EHR documentation.
• Bonus: bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent pre-testing, including visual acuity, auto-refraction, tonometry, retinal imaging, OCT, visual fields, and more.
• Accurately document patient information and exam findings within the EHR system
• Provide optical sales support, including frame styling, lens recommendations, eyewear dispensing, and patient education
• Schedule patient appointments, manage clinic flow, and verify vision insurance benefits
• Deliver outstanding customer service and assist with patient intake, check-in, and clinic operations
• Maintain exam rooms, diagnostic equipment, and clinical supplies

Key Responsibilities:
