Job summary

Texas State Optical on Congress Ave in Austin is seeking an Optometric Technician I to support eye care teams. Pay ranges from $16 to $18 per hour with full benefits, including PTO, holidays, insurance, 401k + match, and more.

Hours are Monday through Friday, with optional Saturday shifts if available. You will assist with pre-screening tests, collect patient histories, train on contact lens care, verify insurance, schedule appointments, and help coordinate patient flow to ensure a high-quality

Qualifications

• 1+ year of customer service experience (optometric or medical experience is a plus!).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong multitasking and organizational abilities in a fast-paced setting.
• A team player with a growth mindset and eagerness to learn.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documenting patient information.
• Flexibility and a proactive attitude toward supporting team success.

Location: 2407 S Congress Ave Ste 100, Austin, TX 78704

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, patient-focused individual to join our team as an Optometric Technician I. Pay : $16-$18/hour with full benefits including PTO, paid holidays, insurance, 401k + match & so much more!

Monday - Friday hours + Saturday hours (if work Saturday would be off 1 day during the week)
