iRefract is opening a new location in East Peoria, Illinois and is seeking Optometric Technicians who are reliable, customer-service oriented, and hardworking. The role involves pre-testing patients, handling insurance, scheduling appointments, and supporting both clinical and administrative tasks to keep operations smooth.

Ideal candidates bring eyecare industry experience, excellent communication, and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset to contribute to a patient-focused, streamlined practice

iRefract is seeking a couple motivated and caring Optometric Techs to open a new location in East Peoria, Illinois! Optometric Technicians are integral members of our team and they are truly a "jack of all trades", plus customer-service oriented, reliable, and hardworking.

Duties Include

• Pre-test patients by performing pre-exams
• Verification of insurance and handling payments
• Schedule patient appointments
• Ensure proper check-out procedures
• Perform business and administrative tasks, such as maintaining order records, keeping track of patients' prescriptions, answering phones, medical billing, and ordering/maintaining inventory
