iRefract is seeking a licensed optometrist to open a new location in East Peoria, Illinois, joining a multi-location vision group. The role emphasizes patient care, with strong support in billing, marketing, and operations to ensure a streamlined practice.

You will provide comprehensive eye exams, diagnose ocular disease, prescribe lenses, and deliver pre-/post-operative care while maintaining detailed records.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree required.
• Valid IL state license to practice optometry.
• Patient-care and customer-service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye exams.
• Diagnose and assist in the treatment of ocular disease.
• Prescribe corrective lenses.
• Provide pre- and post-operative care to surgical patients.
• Promote healthy vision by counseling and educating patients.
• Maintain detailed patient records regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and progress.
• Handle eye care emergencies.
