Dr. Tavel Vision is seeking an Optometric Technician in Training in Indiana. You will support clinicians by performing pre-tests, gathering patient health information, and preparing patients for exams.

No eye care experience is necessary; we value focus, discipline, and a genuine desire to help others. You will join a supportive team, receive two-week paid training, and have opportunities to grow your skills in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• No eye care experience required; attitude and willingness to learn.
• Must attend a mandatory two-week paid training (no absences).
• Some Saturdays work may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-tests and diagnostic procedures with accuracy and efficiency.
• Collect and document patient medical histories and current health information.
• Communicate effectively with doctors and help manage clinic flow.
• Maintain clean, functional equipment for a seamless patient experience.
• Assist with insurance verification, eligibility checks, and benefit authorizations.
• Stay current with training and actively grow your skills.
• Ability to travel to support other locations only if needed.
