Job summary

Clarkson Eyecare in Creve Coeur, MO is seeking an Medical Assistant (Optometric Technician) to assist doctors with preliminary testing and support the Total Patient Experience. No prior eyecare experience is required; training is provided.

You will verify insurance, communicate with patients and staff, and handle inquiries by phone, email, and in person. Office hours are Monday–Friday with occasional overtime; a high school diploma is required and a background check will be conducted.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year in a position interacting with customers/patients or the equivalent education/experience.
• Favorable result on background check as required by state.
• Proof of identity and right to work in the United States.
