Job summary

EyeCare Partners in Lawrence, KS is seeking a Medical Assistant (Optometric Technician) to support the ophthalmology team with patient flow and preliminary testing. You will verify insurance, assist doctors, and handle inquiries, while delivering a world-class Total Patient Experience in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Strong customer service and basic computer skills are essential, with a HIPAA-conscious approach and willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year interacting with customers/patients.
• Favorable result on background check.
• Proof of identity and right to work in the United States
• Previous medical office experience preferred; ophthalmic experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate patient flow
