Job summary

VisionFirst Eye Care is seeking a friendly, patient-focused teammate to join our Kentucky locations. You’ll be at the front line of the patient experience, greeting people and prepping them for exams within a community-owned practice.

You will perform preliminary testing, collect medical histories, and guide visits with warmth and professionalism while keeping patient records accurate and up to date. Training is provided for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Friendly, people-first personality.
• Detail-oriented and organized under pressure.
• Team player who takes ownership.
• Prior optometry or medical office experience is a plus, but we’ll train the right person.

What You’ll Do

You’ll be a key part of our patient experience — greeting people, prepping them for exams, conducting pre-tests, and ensuring that every patient has a great experience. No two days look exactly alike. Some key job duties include:

• Use diagnostic equipment and perform preliminary testing
• Prepare patients for their eye exams by performing medical history intake
• Guide patients through their visit with warmth and professionalism
• Keep patient records accurate and up to date
• Assist with various in-office procedures that ensure organized and efficient patient flow
