Job summary

VisionFirst Eye Care in Kentucky is seeking a friendly, patient-focused front desk member to join our local, employee-owned practice. You’ll greet patients, prep for exams, collect medical histories, and ensure a smooth, positive experience throughout every visit.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, organized under pressure, and reliable. Prior optometry or medical office experience is a plus, but we will train the right person.

What You'll Do

You’ll be a key part of our patient experience — greeting people, prepping them for exams, conducting pre-tests, and ensuring that every patient has a great experience. No two days look exactly alike. Some key job duties include:

• Use diagnostic equipment and perform preliminary testing
• Prepare patients for their eye exams by performing medical history intake
• Guide patients through their visit with warmth and professionalism
• Keep patient records accurate and up to date
• Assist with various in-office procedures that ensure organized and efficient patient flow
