Job summary

VisionFirst Eye Care in Kentucky is seeking a patient services professional to join our local, employee-owned practice. You’ll greet patients, prep them for exams, conduct pre-tests, and help ensure every visit is friendly and efficient.

No two days are the same: you’ll use diagnostic equipment, take medical history, guide patients through visits with warmth, and keep records accurate. Prior optometry or medical office experience is a plus, but we’ll train the right person.

What You’ll Do

You’ll be a key part of our patient experience — greeting people, prepping them for exams, conducting pre-tests, and ensuring that every patient has a great experience. No two days look exactly alike. Some key job duties include:

• Prepare patients for their eye exams by performing medical history intake
• Guide patients through their visit with warmth and professionalism
• Keep patient records accurate and up to date
• Assist with various in-office procedures that ensure organized and efficient patient flow
