Premier Eye Associates is seeking a friendly Eye Care Assistant to join our growing private practice in Opelika, AL. You will work across front desk, clinical technician, and optical duties, with comprehensive on-the-job training provided.

No prior eye care experience is required, and you will be supported as you learn multiple areas of patient care, health histories, pre-testing, and diagnostic testing to ensure a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients, assist with check-in and check-out, answer phones, schedule appointments, and support front-office operations
• Guide patients through health histories, pre-testing, diagnostic testing, and other clinical aspects of their visit
• Assist doctors with patient flow, contact lens services, pre- and post-operative care, and patient education
• Help patients with frame selection, eyewear options, and other optical services
• Verify insurance benefits and assist with patient paperwork and information
• Educate patients about routine, preventative, and medical eye care
• Provide friendly, attentive service while helping wherever needed across the practice

Required Qualifications
