Job summary

Canon U.S.A., Inc. is seeking a Technical Sales Account Manager in Silicon Valley to drive sales of optomechatronics products. You will manage the full sales cycle, conduct technical discussions, and coordinate with engineering teams to meet customer needs.

The role requires a technical background, strong customer-facing skills, and the ability to travel up to 20% (domestic and occasional international). Hybrid work in the San Jose area is available with a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent experience, plus 5 years of B2B/technical sales.
• Experience selling technical, industrial, or engineered products.
• Business level proficiency in Japanese is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Achieve assigned sales and revenue targets for optomechatronics products.
• Develop new customers through direct sales, referrals, and events.
• Manage the full sales cycle including negotiations and forecasting.
• Provide technical sales support for galvano scanners, measurement, and astronomy products.
• Review customer drawings and requirements to recommend Canon solutions.
• Conduct presentations, product demos, and initial troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with Canon engineering and manufacturing teams for technical questions.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide regular updates.
