  • Knowledge of industry tools: SPIRITS, MODTRAN6, COAST, Matlab
  • Characterization of IR cameras (NEDT, NEI, EE), measurement of TPMs, and designing test procedures
  • Modeling threat signatures given GFI data, or modeling parameters/engagement description (Source Radiant Intensity, Contrast Radiant Intensity at range)
  • Existing Secret Clearance
Basic Qualifications
  • BSEE or another STEM degree and 3+ years of related experience. Candidate must demonstrate the ability to perform one or more of the following Electro Optical Engineering assignments:
  • Demonstrate knowledge or experience of EO systems consisting of advanced optical/infrared material and coatings.
  • Demonstrate experience of EO systems consisting state of the art sensors, and advanced laser systems.
  • Demonstrate knowledge or experience in radiometric EO analysis and simulation.
  • Perform design and analysis of EO candidate systems for both ground and airborne sensor suite applications.
  • Demonstrate an ability to define and/or access and utilize target threat signatures in EO modeling.
  • Demonstrate the ability to utilize MATLAB when running EO performance analysis simulations or developing target models.
  • Conduct parametric studies to support advanced EO targeting sensor and seeker development. Model design solutions that can be fabricated for laboratory test and characterization prior to development.
