Old Mission, a global proprietary trading firm, seeks a Fundamental Analyst to join the Options team in Chicago. You will conduct economic, event-driven, and company-specific research to identify opportunities and influence trading decisions with a quantitative overlay.

Collaborate with traders to develop tools, analyze market data, and test strategies across asset classes worldwide while staying up-to-date with market events and delivering clear quantitative insights.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or advanced degree in a quantitative field (e.g., CS, engineering, hard sciences).
• Extensive knowledge of securities analysis.
• Programming experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and analyze financial/events/information impacting options of underlying securities.
• Support traders as the main contact for quantitative and macroeconomic research.
• Analyze datasets to assess potential impact on prices and options.
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to inform trading decisions.
• Collaborate with traders, develop tools, analyze market data, and test strategies.
