Job summary

OneMain Financial in Fort Mill, SC seeks an Operations Optional Product Support Specialist to be the single point of contact for customer requests to cancel optional insurance products. You will balance high volumes with accuracy in both front-facing and back-office processing, ensuring compliance throughout.

You will become the subject matter expert on optional products, manage inbound and outbound contacts, document interactions, and pursue first-call resolution with quality.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• 3 to 5 years of call center experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Become a subject matter expert with OneMain Optional products and act as single point of contact for customer support.
• Manage both inbound and outbound customer contacts concerning Optional Products.
• Demonstrate active listening to offer appropriate support or solutions with focus on quality and first call resolution.
• Maintain accurate account documentation and disposition of customer contacts.
• Process customer requests for product cancellations in compliance with regulatory expectations.
• Review accounts for refunds, process stop payments, and re-issue refunds when applicable.
• Identify operational issues or opportunities and collaborate with the team to resolve.
• Ensure processing volumes meet service level agreements.
• Engage customers via web chat, text, and phone, navigating systems to provide timely responses.
• Work consultatively with customers respecting FDCPA and all relevant laws and policies.
