Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS), a division of Amphenol Corporation, is seeking an Optics Product Line Manager in Santa Clara, CA to lead CPO/NPO product strategy and drive design wins. This role partners with marketing, engineering and sales to rapidly grow the business and shape the roadmap.

The ideal candidate has a technical optics background, strong market insight, and a track record in product management or optical engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Optics, Electronics, or Engineering with keen business acumen.
• Fluent in English & Mandarin preferred.
• 3+ years of optical engineering experience, technical marketing, or project/product management experience.
• Technical knowledge of the optical industry and relevant standards.
• Good communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office; able to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Promote CPO/NPO products to field teams and customers; define positioning and target customers.
• Drive new business opportunities and develop sales/marketing tools.
• Coordinate pricing and market strategy with sales for key accounts.
• Conduct local customer visits and travel for training, factory visits, and negotiations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify market requirements and close opportunities.
• Work with design, development, and manufacturing to ensure timely product introductions.
• Monitor market trends and advise on product line positioning to stay ahead of competitors.
• Engage with customers on next-generation architecture and AI/transceiver demand.
