You will drive manufacturing excellence, ensure design-for-manufacture, and deliver capital improvements.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's in a relevant engineering field, experience in manufacturing engineering, and the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Optical, materials science, physics, chemical engineering or closely related field.
• Experience developing, implementing and troubleshooting manufacturing processes.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 5–10 engineers to drive best-in-class manufacturing practices for high-performance optics.
• Manage non-recurring projects from concept through production with DFM and automation requirements.
• Champion new equipment and processes through R&D and integration efforts.
• Develop and deliver capital-improvement plans to expand capability and capacity.
• Lead manpower planning, hiring, training, and coaching for the engineering team.
