A premier eyewear retailer is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Co-Store Manager / Licensed Optician to lead its dynamic retail team in Arcadia, CA. This is a full-time, exempt position located in a high-traffic shopping center, offering opportunities for growth and meaningful impact in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.

About the Role

The Co-Store Manager will oversee all aspects of daily store operations, including team leadership, customer experience, sales performance, inventory control, and scheduling. The ideal candidate is both a licensed optician and a proven retail leader who can foster a positive team culture while ensuring a seamless customer journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support daily retail operations with a focus on customer satisfaction and operational efficiency
• Deliver exceptional service and resolve customer concerns with professionalism and care
• Fit, adjust, and assemble eyewear to meet individual customer needs
• Supervise and mentor team members; provide ongoing training and feedback
• Maintain high standards of product accuracy and service delivery
• Organize and conduct team meetings to align goals and improve performance
• Coordinate in-store eye exams and ensure compliance with all protocols
• Uphold a vibrant, welcoming work atmosphere aligned with brand values

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in opticianry or related field preferred
• ABO Certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year of management experience in a retail setting
• At least 2 years of experience working as an optician in a retail store or optometrist’s office
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
