Optician

Our San Luis Obispo – California Ave partners and Primary Eye Care Atascadero of Fyidoctors of California Inc clinics are looking for an experienced Optician to bring your skills and provide outstanding eye care. This full‑time position requires 30‑40 hours per week. Our clinic is open Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Retail and repair of eyewear products
• Follow‑up patient care and patient education on eyewear choices
• Assist clients in selecting frames that suit their aesthetic and performance needs
• Maintain excellent customer service standards
• Perform repairs and adjustments to patients’ eyewear
• Contribute to store retail sales goals

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in an optical environment
• Strong communication skills and passion for customer experience
• Team‑oriented with a commitment to excellence in a high‑performance environment
• Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced setting
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Previous retail experience an asset
