Job summary

FYidoctors of California, Inc in Los Gatos is seeking an Optician to join our team. The role involves retail eyewear, repairs, and patient follow-up care in a fast-paced, friendly environment.

You will educate clients on eyewear, help select frames, perform repairs, and contribute to store sales goals while delivering outstanding patient experiences.

The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with competitive salary and benefits and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in an optical environment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Able to work as part of a high-performing team.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
• Basic computer skills, including MS Office.
• Retail experience is a plus.

Our Los Gatos - Pollard Rd partners of FYidoctors of California Inc clinic is looking for someone like you to bring your exceptional skills and experience and join us as an Optician!

This position is a full-time role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

The Optician will be responsible for the retail and repair of eyewear products as well as follow-up patient care. Join us in advancing eye health and enhancing the lives of our patients in a dynamic and rewarding environment.

What Will You Do

• Educating clients about the best eyewear choices for their lifestyle
• Assisting with selection of frames to suit your client’s aesthetic and performance needs
• Performing repairs and adjustments to patients’ eyewear
• Contributing to store retail sales goals

What Do You Bring

• Minimum one year experience in an optical environment
• Passionate about customer experience; a great communicator who can provide exceptional patient care
• Committed to excelling as a member of a high performing team
• Able to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment
• Good computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office Suite
• Previous retail experience an asset
