Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years Optician experience preferred.
• 1-3 years sales experience in healthcare or retail preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with patients and colleagues.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Review prescriptions and help patients select frames and lenses.
• Enter orders into POS and process payments.
• Troubleshoot glasses and adjust fit for comfort.
• Conduct telephone triage and direct patients appropriately.
• Merchandise, clean, and maintain the optical area.
• Manage inventory of frames and lenses.
• Work with frame representatives and manufacturers.
