Job summary

Prevea Health in Green Bay is seeking a dedicated Optician to join our vision care team. This full-time role rotates between Allouez and Holmgren Way locations, delivering personalized eyewear fittings and customer service.

You will interpret prescriptions, assist patients in choosing frames and lenses, manage inventory and merchandising, and ensure quality standards while enhancing the patient experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Required.
• 1-3 years Optician experience Preferred.
• 1-3 years Sales experience in healthcare or retail Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review prescriptions and help patients choose frames and lenses suited to prescription, lifestyle, and budget.
• Ensure proper fit, adjust frames, and enter orders into the POS system.
• Troubleshoot eyewear issues and address patient concerns about prescription, frame, or fit.
• Conduct telephone triage to assess concerns and direct to appropriate care.
• Merchandise, clean, and maintain the optical area and displays.
• Manage inventory of frames, lenses, and optical products; collaborate with frame reps.
