Job summary

All Eyes On You Optometry, Inc. is seeking an Optician to help patients select eyewear that fits their vision needs, lifestyle, and style while delivering exceptional customer service throughout the experience.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, personable, with strong communication skills and familiarity with daily operations of an optometry office. Schedule includes Tue-Wed 8:30-5:00, Thu-Fri 7:00-3:30, plus three Saturdays per month 8:00-12:30.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in an optical or optometry setting.
• Detail oriented with excelled organization skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Dispense Eyewear: Meet and talk with patients to learn their needs for eyewear
• Make suggestions on frames, and assist patients in choosing the best option for them
• Take facial measurements to ensure a perfect frame fit
• Lens and Lab Coordination: Prepare specific orders with optical labs, track orders ensuring accuracy and on-time delivery
• Patients Education: Educate patients on lens options, coatings and proper ensure satisfaction with their eyewear
• Use EHR software: Input patients data, pull insurance and authorizations.
